Children's (4-7 years old) Pop Up Card Making 26/02/25 9:30am-12:30pm

With special thanks to funding from Sunderland City Council's Coalfield Area Neighbour Fund, we are delighted to bring you a series of wonderful events as part of the Holiday Activities for Children and Young People Programme.

During this pop-up card making session, children will have the opportunity to design and create their very own colourful and imaginative pop-up card to take home and share with family or friends. Using paper, card and simple craft materials, children will explore how pictures can move and pop up when a card is opened.

The session will also gently support early learning skills in maths, English and IT in a fun and age-appropriate way. Children will be encouraged to count shapes, measure and fold paper, recognise patterns, talk about their ideas and describe the pictures they are creating.
